TEHRAN – Iranian young forward Saeid Saharkhizan joined Esteghlal football club on Friday.

The 22-year-old moved to Orenburg from Gol Gohar last season and scored seven goals in 28 appearances for the Russian side.

 He has signed a three-year deal with Esteghlal.

Sepahan and Persepolis had also shown interest in signing the player.

Ricardo Sá Pinto’s Esteghlal will compete in the 2025/26 AFC Champions League Two.
